Balancer Hit by $129M Exploit as Berachain Validators Halt Network for Hard Fork

ETF expert Nate Geraci forecasts the launch of the first spot XRP ETF within the coming days. Balancer Hack: DeFi protocol suffered a major exploit that drained more than $129 million in crypto assets. Multiple chains, including Ethereum, Base, and Berachain, are impacted by the hack that targeted V2 vaults and liquidity pools.
Ethereum price has remained under pressure, but stablecoin activity on its network surged to new highs in October. Ethereum-based stablecoins recorded a massive $2.82 trillion in on-chain trading volume, up 45% from September. This is the largest monthly volume on record.
