Coinbase Issues Warning on USD1 Stablecoin Ahead of Listing
Coinbase has added World Liberty’s USD1 stablecoin to its roadmap—but a crucial caution: do not deposit USD1 before the official trading launch, as early deposits could result in permanent loss.
The exchange clarified that listing on the roadmap does not mean immediate trading. Launch depends on two factors: adequate market-making support and technical readiness.
USD1 joins other assets like QCAD, Dolomite, SPX6900, and tokens from Base and Solana, reflecting Coinbase’s push for multi-network growth. Not all tokens will receive the same treatment—some may carry experimental risk labels.
Transparency and caution remain key as crypto adoption accelerates.

BlackRock Offloads $111M in BTC and $254M in ETH
Arkham Intelligence reports that BlackRock moved 1,885 BTC ($111.66M) and 59,606 ETH ($254.43M) to Coinbase Prime—typically a signal of upcoming sales.
This follows significant outflows from BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs on August 20: $220M and $257.78M, respectively. Combined with Ark Invest, Grayscale, and Fidelity, crypto ETFs saw a net outflow of $311.57M in a single day.
Despite inflows to Grayscale and Fidelity, ETH ETFs collectively recorded a net outflow of $240.14M. The data underscores the continued volatility and shifting sentiment in the crypto ETF space.

🚀 ‘BTC More Likely to Hit $100 Than $100,000″—Harvard Economist Proven Wrong as Bitcoin Breaks $120K
Harvard Economist’s 2018 Bitcoin Prediction… vs. Reality
Back in 2018, Kenneth Rogoff predicted Bitcoin was “far more likely to hit $100 than $100K,” arguing it had no value beyond money laundering and tax evasion. At the time, BTC had just fallen to $11K from its 2017 ATH of $20K.
Soon after, Bitcoin did crash—to $3K. Fast forward to August 2025, and BTC soared to $124.4K—proving the skeptics wrong (at least so far).
A reminder that in crypto, volatility is extreme, and predictions—even from top economists—can be spectacularly off.

Coinbase CEO Predicts Bitcoin at $1M by 2030
Brian Armstrong, Coinbase CEO, shared on the Cheeky Pint podcast that Bitcoin could hit $1M by 2030—thanks to emerging regulatory clarity and the U.S. potentially holding BTC as a reserve. 🇺🇸
Armstrong highlighted that the U.S. is setting the tone for the G20, with stablecoin regulations and market structure debates paving the way. He even suggested BTC could evolve into a global reserve currency as trust in fiat declines.
Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, one thing’s clear: the conversation around Bitcoin’s future is getting louder than ever.
